Messenger began its Journey in 2005 with God's idea of reaching everyday people with hope for life's everyday challenges. Karen Knaebel, lead singer/songwriter draws from her lifetime's story to put the music with the message that God is a real source for hope in all circumstances.
Messenger is a five-member Vermont band that delights its audience with casual stories, sing along opportunities, and music filled with the distinctive style that only Messenger can deliver. Their original music as well as their take on the classics brings a mix of diverse genres including old country gospel, contemporary christian, folk and even a little touch of blues.
Messenger provides a level of expertise from members who have years of experience in the music industry as well as a deep love for the music and their maker. For everything from Saturday evening gatherings to outdoor concerts and Sunday morning worship services, Messenger is flexible to the needs of your church and/or independent venue. Karen has even been known to do a sermon or two.

Bring your Christmas spirit and participate in a sing-along celebration. Young and old... and everyone in between. Whether you can sing or not - come for a time of fellowship and refreshments. We will end the night with lighting of candles and uniting in the singing of Silent Night. Would love to see you there!

Waterbury Center Church is having a community celebration Saturday, July 31st from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm Kids activities are scheduled, Cold Hollow Cider Mill will be providing donuts and cider, there will be a silent auction and Messenger will be playing from 11:00 am to 12:00 am and again from 1:00 to 2:00. We've been in lock down for a long time and we'd love you all to come and celebrate with us. There will be some children music time - bring your children.

Messenger will be playing an hour of gospel/old time rock n roll and then will be playing the music for the church service at the Street Rod Nationals. We are excited about this opportunity - the Street Rod Nationals are amazing car shows all over the country with everything from Muscle Cars to Model Ts. We look forward to seeing you there if you can join us. There is no admission for Messenger; but, a general admission for the Street Rod Event!

Messenger will be playing the outdoor streetrod car show event for an hour of rock n roll and then will be the worship music for the NSRA church service with Pastor Jim Rowlett, the Chaplin for the NSRA. Tickets for the car show available at the gate.

Old Time Gospel Sing Along With Messenger, Saturday Nov 17, 2018 6 to 8 pm at Wesley United Methodist Church, 56 South Main Street Waterbury The Brick Church on Main St with the new look Steeple Come join Messenger and Wesley United Methodist church in Waterbury for an evening of old time gospel music. There is no charge and welcome to all. Join us Saturday. November 17th at 6 pm. Bring your voices, good cheer, and your neighbors. During the concert, fresh baked goods and refreshments will be available for sale by donation to the church. For further information you may call Skip Flanders at 244 5529.

God Loves Me is based on a children's song written by Karen Knaebel and beautifully illustrated to span the lifetime of the author. Karen will be sharing the story behind the book and the adventures that formed her life and her discovery of the mysteries in God's creation.
SoulFest is excited to have Word Of Life Fellowship lead the children’s ministry! Thursday through Saturday, just after gates open, Word of Life will lead a time of music, games and an age appropriate message in the Mercy St. Café (9:15 – 10:15am).Karen is teaching "God Loves Me" to a group of children on the grounds of Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford, New Hampshire during the gathering at Soulfest. Saturday morning in the Mercy Street Cafe should be a small and sweet experience for all to learn that God's love is all around us because God Is Love.....
